Summer 2009 Spain / Barcelona Tour
Day 1
– Depart States
Day 2 & 3 – Hotel in Barcelona – Tour the city where Gaudi left his mark. See the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Visit the Gothic Quarter and Gothic Cathedral of Santa Eulŕla. Enjoy a stroll along Las Ramblas.
Day 4 – Travel to Madrid – Students stay with families and meet for Madrid excursions.
Day 5 – Madrid meet at 10 am. – Royal Palace / Plaza Mayor / Puerta del Sol
Day 6 – El Escorial meet at 9 am – Monastery / Valley of the Fallen
Day 7 – Toledo meet at 9 am – Cathedral / Synagogue
Day 8 – Madrid meet at 10 am – Prado Museum / Parco Retiro / Puerta de Alcalá
Day 9 through 19 – Family Stays. Mosaicex representative available in Madrid and will be checking in with students and families twice a week.
Day 20 - Return to US.
